Yes, we partnered with PACHAMA, a technology company that helps monitor and verify global forest carbon projects, to measure and offset our carbon emissions. From the founding of AYOND in 2018, we measured the carbon emissions associated with the production and transportation of our products and our daily operations.
Our calculated emissions are offset by supporting the Brazil Nut Concession Forest Conservation Project in the Peruvian Amazon. The project helps move the local economy away from slash-and-burn agriculture and towards the sustainable harvesting of brazil nuts. The concessions also help maintain biodiversity and the overall health of the local ecosystem.
Yes, our products are genderless and suitable for all skin types. However, all skin is unique and is affected not only by products but also the environment and other external factors. If you have sensitive skin we recommend testing the product away from your face to determine how your skin will react.
When trying a new product we recommend allowing 2 weeks for your skin to adjust.
Our products do no contain any direct sources of gluten. However, there are some ingredients that have been processed from gluten sources like wheat or bran. We recommend consulting your dermatologist before using our products if you have a gluten sensitivity.
We never use synthetic fragrance. We use only the highest quality natural essential oils, essences and extracts to create our fragrances. We are transparent and list each ingredient we use, including those we use for our fragrance blends.
Yes, all of our glass and paper packaging can be recycled locally. Anything that cannot be recycled through your municipality can be sent to us through our recycling program. None of our packaging should end up in the landfill.
We want you to be happy with your purchase. However, if our products are not right for you, we will accept our products back. They must be at least half-full and within 30 days of the original purchase. Unfortunately products past the 30 day limit and exchanges are not accepted.
